  • TB1, TB1F, and TB2 compensation ring pre-assembled mechanical seals are used to match Sulzer AHLSTAR pumps.
    Structural Features: The rotating ring component of this series of mechanical seals is pre-assembled and directly mounted on the rotating shaft without using a shaft sleeve, maximizing reliability. This single-end face model of mechanical seal is designed to adapt to any sudden changes in sealing medium pressure, and the sealing end face remains tightly closed under these changes. The dual-seal design ensures that the sealing end face remains tightly closed even in the event of sudden changes in both the pressure of the sealing liquid and the pumping medium. In addition, the sealing end face does not become loosely closed under vacuum conditions. The design structure of this mechanical seal is simple, and its cost is relatively lower compared to fully assembled mechanical seals.
    Implementation standard: enterprise standard
    Application areas: TB1, TB1F, and TB2 mechanical seals are designed to replace standard packing seals for use with standard shaft sizes that do not require the use of shaft sleeves. They can be used with Sulzer's AHLSTAR process pumps, The original design purpose of this mechanical seal was for Sulzer to replace the long-used John Crane Safematic SE1-AP and SE2-AP series mechanical seals, in order to save procurement costs.
